Chief Officer and Director of Health and Social Care Parntership Opportunity

This is an opportunity to lead Falkirk’s Health and Social Care Partnership at a pivotal moment.

Undergoing transformative change to put services on a sustainable future footing and in the process of developing a new strategic plan, the Partnership is looking ahead to reshape the local health and social care landscape to meet the needs of people in Falkirk.

As Chief Officer, you will play a central role in shaping this future, providing clear strategic leadership and driving improvement and innovation.

We’re seeking someone who is passionate about community health and social care services and is ready to work closely with partners across the Integration Joint Board, Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley and a wide range of other local organisations and community groups.

As a thriving urban and rural district in the heart of Scotland’s central belt, Falkirk offers a great place to live and work.

Due to its central location, amenities, and cultural attractions, the area is consistently rated as one of the best in the UK to purchase a home.

Thanks to the hard work of our colleagues and high-scoring local inspection results, the town has also been ranked as the best place in Scotland to grow old if you need residential care.

If you have significant experience at senior levels within large complex organisations, preferably the NHS or local government, and you have a passion for improving public health and social care, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

We are inviting applications to be submitted by midnight on Friday 19th June 2026. The Assessment Centre and Interview will take place in August.
