The Partnership uses a Forth Valley-wide Performance Management Framework to monitor its progress. Regular performance updates are provided throughout the year to the Integration Joint Board. The Partnership also publishes an Annual Performance Report as required by the Public Bodies (Joint Working) Regulations 2014.
Annual Performance Reports
The Partnership’s Annual Performance Report highlights the complex and challenging environment of health and social care. It includes examples of the real impacts and positive outcomes made possible by the efforts of Falkirk’s health and care services in the past year, made possible by the commitment, resilience, and professionalism of our workforce and partners, including carers and volunteers.
Scotland’s Health and Social Care Partnerships are required to publish annual reports by 31 July each year* under the Public Bodies (Joint Working) Regulations 2014.
*Due to the impact of the pandemic upon services, the Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 (and its partial extension until the end of September 2022), allows Partnerships to postpone the publication of annual reports. Falkirk’s Integration Joint Board has agreed to delay publication of the 2021-22 Annual Performance Report until 30 September 2022. A draft report will be presented to the next IJB meeting on 2 September.
Ongoing Performance Reporting
The Partnership’s Integration Joint Board receives regular Performance Reports. These reports ensure the Board fulfils its ongoing responsibility to ensure effective monitoring and reporting on the delivery of services. They also provide information on performance against targets and measures set out in the Strategic Plan.
A Strategy Map has been created, which ensures there is a direct link from National Health and Well Being outcomes and Strategic Plan outcomes to performance indicators.
