Have your say: Support available within Adult Care Homes
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership is seeking feedback about the support available to people aged under 65 living in adult care homes.
Feedback will help shape our next Adult Care Homes Framework, which plans how services and support options should be delivered.
Our engagement team will be visiting care homes across the area to help residents complete the survey and have their say.
If you are a family member or carer of someone living in a local adult care home, you can also complete the survey online with the resident or on behalf of yourself.
Which services are covered?
We want to hear whether residents are supported to achieve their wants and needs while living in local care homes. For example, does the support offered help residents to:
- manage their own health and wellbeing and make relevant choices;
- feel respected;
- engage and take part in daily routines and activities;
- take opportunities to engage in education, learn, and work;
- have fun;
- take risks;
We also want to hear views about:
- What you like best about the services offered.
- What could be improved about the service offered.
Everyone’s feedback will help us to make sure the support people receive is suited to their needs and wants.
The survey is relevant to residents aged under 65 in adult care homes, including those focused on providing support for people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, or complex care for people with neurological or physical conditions.
The Adults Care Homes Framework Survey is available online at say.falkirk.gov.uk until Friday 23rd June 2023. For further information, please get in touch via integration@falkirk.gov.uk
