Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership welcomes new Chief Finance Officer

Marie Keirs has joined the Partnership this week as Chief Finance Officer, taking over from Interim CFO Mark Fairley.

Joining from Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership, Marie brings experience from senior finance positions in Inverclyde and South Ayrshire and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing integration boards and local authorities across Scotland.

Upon her appointment, Marie said: “From attending Falkirk’s recent Integration Joint Board meetings as an observer, I’m pleased to be joining the Partnership at this exciting and busy period – with a team that is passionate about exploring new ways of delivering high quality services for people in Falkirk.

“I’m in no doubt the environment in which we are operating is challenging, but I am also confident that I join a team capable of putting us on a robust and sustainable footing for the future.”

Marie is the latest addition to the senior team, following the appointment of the Partnership’s new Chief Officer in April, Gail Woodcock, and Caroline Doherty as temporary Head of Integration – taking up the post under secondment while the team complete a review of leadership requirements.
