We are seeking someone who is passionate about community health and social care services and can help us achieve our vision to enable people in Falkirk to live full and positive lives within supportive and inclusive communities.

We are looking for a collaborative and compassionate leader with significant experience of transforming health and social care services, leading across complex organisations in a changing landscape.

Reporting to the Integration Joint Board, the Partnership brings together colleagues from across Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, and partners in the third and independent sectors.

The Partnership delivers operational services across local social work offices, health centres, GP practices, community hospitals, care homes, intermediate care facilities, day centres, supporting better living within Falkirk’s communities. The Board is made of representatives from Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, the third sector, service users, carers, and staff representatives.

As IJB Chief Officer and Director of HSCP, you will be responsible for further integration of local services, and providing strategic leadership to address the opportunities and challenges which face many health and social care organisations across the country – including increased demand, recruitment and workforce retention, and the implementation of new technologies and innovation.

Managing an annual budget of over £255m, the Board has responsibility for strategic planning, commissioning, and overseeing operational delivery to meet its Strategic Plan and the nine National Health and Wellbeing Outcomes. As IJB Chief Officer and Director of HSCP you will have a key role in supporting and delivering our priorities.

You will have extensive experience as a transformational leader with a commitment to Falkirk’s Health & Social Care Partnership. If you have significant experience at senior level within a large complex organisation, within public, third sector or private sector organisation and you have a passion for improving population health and social care, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
