Falls Awareness Week, 15 – 19th September
We are marking Falls Awareness Week and Safer Mobility Week across Forth Valley with events and opportunities within the community to learn about
Falls Awareness Week (15 -19 September) is a national campaign observed to increase awareness around falls health and injury prevention.
On Wednesday 17 September, colleagues will be at Bellfield Centre in Stirling (FK8 2AU) between 11am and 2pm with a series of interactive stands, providing advice on:
- Nutrition
- Bone health
- Strength and balance
- Medication and falls
- Community Nursing
- Technology
- Hearing aid support
- Safe home environments
On Friday 19 September, the local Falls Prevention Lead will be at Falkirk Library between 1030am and 1230pm to provide hints and tips on safer mobility and keeping active.
Everyone is welcome, and no registration is required – pop in to have a chat.
