Free live stream for care homes

Following a national broadcast of their concert from Bath in October 2021, Bristol Beacon are once again to live stream the forthcoming London Symphony Orchestra concert with Sir Simon Rattle to care homes across the country.

The concert in October featured in national TV news coverage and inspired joy among the many care home residents who tuned in.

  • Antonín Dvořák American Suite
  • Robert Schumann Symphony No 2

Following the success and wonderful feedback from the first concert, Bristol Beacon have teamed up with Bath Forum to put on another performance with the renowned orchestra, conducted by the celebrated Sir Simon Rattle, and will once again offer a free live broadcast to care homes across the country.

The concert will be broadcast live via YouTube at 18.45 on Monday 14 March, and will be available on demand for one month, so care homes can screen it for their residents at a time that suits them.

Any care home in the country can tune in for free and are invited to screen the concert for staff and residents.

The broadcast is made possible thanks to sponsorship by Bristol Care Homes, who wanted to extend the opportunity to watch the concert across the country as many still contend with the impacts of the pandemic
