As a Carer Representative, you will be supported by Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre to take part and feed in to the planning, resourcing, and operational oversight of local health and social care services.

Background

The Integration Joint Board is made up of representatives from Falkirk Council, NHS Forth Valley, the third sector, service users, and local carers.

The Board has responsibility for planning, resourcing, and operational oversight of Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership’s services.

Why we need you

Carer representatives contribute to the workings of both the Integration Joint Board & the Strategic Planning Group, helping to improve local services.

The Partnership is seeking nominations for a new carer representative, ready to take on the role for the next three-year term of office.

By joining the Board, you will:

  • Being the voice of local carers;
  • Help shape local services for carers, and those they care for;
  • Have access to opportunities for personal development.

The role requires the representative to:

The Carers Centre will support you in your role as the IJB carer representative, and expenses incurred in the role will be covered.
