Workshop: Introduction to Community Led Support and Good Conversations in Falkirk

The National Development Team for inclusion (NDTI) invites colleagues to a virtual workshop introducing Community Led Support and the ‘Good Conversations’ model in Falkirk.

This 2.5. hour virtual workshop provides an overview of the Community-led Support (CLS) programme and the 7 key principles underpinning the programme, including its progress in Falkirk.

One of the core building blocks of CLS is having a good strength based conversation and the workshop covers what we mean by strength based conversations, challenges the language we use and explores how to adopt this approach in practice.

Who should attend?

The workshops are aimed at anyone who has direct contact with people needing support and advice (including at the first point of contact) and their managers.

This includes people working for voluntary sector organisations, community groups, health and social care practitioners as well as people with lived experience and family carers.

Dates:

  • Tuesday 7th June – 10-12.30 am
  • Wednesday 22nd June 1.30-4pm
