Safehaven Evening Natter Chatter Café

New evening wellbeing cafes to offer friendly chat and vital support.

Local charity, Safebase, will be offering people a warm and friendly place to talk through their problems and access the help and support.

The first Evening Natter Chatter Cafe will provide drop-in support on the 13th of May from 19:30 till 23:00 – a safe place to chat over a cuppa.

Safebase’s aim is to support those that need help when they are in times of crisis, providing drop in safe spaces across the country and working with colleagues in Police Scotland, Scottish Ambulance Service, the Royal Voluntary Service, and local Health and Social Care Partnerships.

Volunteers for the charity are trained in basic first aid, enhanced first aid, mental health first aid and COVID-19 risk assessments.

Safebase volunteers will be on hand at the Safehaven Evening Natter Chatter Café to listen and support you informally, confidentially, and in a safe space.
