Register now for Falkirk Accessible Shopping Day
A shopping day for those who need support to access to town centre is being held in the Howgate Centre next month.
The annual Falkirk Accessible Shopping Day will take place on Saturday 2 December, helping people to get more out of visiting the town centre.
The day is hosted by Dial-a-Journey and Falkirk Shopmobility who help people access transport and mobility aids to get out and about.
Between 1130am and 3:30pm on the day, shoppers can be picked up from their own homes, nursing homes, and sheltered accommodation and transported to the Howgate Centre, where accessibility aids will be waiting.
Shopmobility is able to supply mobility aids, including manual or powered wheelchairs and scooters to help shoppers.
Once in town, shoppers will be able to make use of a £10 refreshment voucher, available to anyone registered for Accessible Shopping Day.
To register for the day, book transport or mobility aids, or for more information, contact Lisa or Kim at Shopmobility on 01324 630 500, open Monday to Saturday 10am-4pm. The deadline for registration is Friday, November 24.
