Applications now open – Digital Health and Care Fund

A £250,000 fund is now available to help improve the use and availability of digital health and care technology within the Falkirk area.

Funding is open to statutory services, third sector organisations, and constituted community groups. Applicants can apply for funding to start new activities or to extend existing projects.

The Digital Health and Care Fund has been created by Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership and is commissioned and overseen by the Digital Health and Care Programme Board, which brings together representatives from local health and social care services and the third sector.

Two funding options are available:

  • Small grants of up to £5,000 – requiring an end of project evaluation report.
  • Larger grants of up to £25,000 – requiring quarterly evaluation reports.

The funding programme is open until 31 March 2027. Applications are considered on a rolling basis, open until funds are exhausted. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply as soon as possible

To support projects throughout the 3-year funding programme the £250,000 pot has been notionally allocated as £90,000 within 2024/25; £80,000 within 2025/26; and £80,000 within 2026/27.

Further information is available within the Application Guidance. To request an application form, please email James Spence, Technology Enabled Care Development Officer, james.spence@falkirk.gov.uk.
