Adult Placement Carers Needed

Are you thinking of doing something different, looking for a change?

Falkirk’s Joint Dementia Initiative is currently looking for Adult Placement Carers to support within Falkirk Area.

“Home from Home” is a service run by Falkirk Council, supporting groups of 4 – 5 people with dementia to meet together in an ordinary domestic home for the day to make new friends, chat, have lunch and access local community resources.

Working as an Adult Placement Carer you would either open up your own family home or work alongside one of our existing Carers in their own home.

Adult Placement Carers work on a self- employed basis reflecting the home and family orientated nature of the service. In return you receive fees, expenses, training, support and a great deal of job satisfaction.

The kind of attributes you would bring would be flexibility, adaptability, energy and equally as important you would have a caring, friendly nature and the time and willingness to offer short periods of support.
