Forth Valley Adult Support and Protection Conference
Colleagues across Forth Valley are invited to join the annual Adult Support and Protection Conference, taking place later this month alongside National Adult Support and Protection Awareness Day.
The national awareness day, taking place on 20th February each year, is an important day to raise public awareness and come together as adult support and protection partners.
This year’s Forth Valley Adult Support and Protection Conference, taking place on Tuesday 21st February, will focus on self-harm and self-neglect.
The conference will also recognise national improvements, including the Scottish Governments Adult Support and Protection improvement plan, revised code of practice, new learning review guidance, development of a new minimum data set, and new national learning resources. Discussion will highlight how these developments continue to be implemented across the Forth Valley area.
The conference will welcome external speakers, followed by breakout workshops hosted by local services to demonstrate good practice and successful from across the Falkirk, Clackmannanshire, and Stirling area.
