All Scottish public authorities must have a Publication Scheme in place setting out the information they make publicly available, how it can be accessed, and whether there is any charge for the information.
The Partnership has adopted the Scottish Information Commissioner’s Model Publication Scheme. To support this, a Partnership Guide to Information document is provided to explain how you can access information easily.
The Integration Joint Board is also is subject to the Public Records (Scotland) Act 2011. This means it must have a Records Management Plan in place which sets out how it manages its records. The Board submitted its first plan to the Keeper in March 2020. The Keeper’s assessment of the plan is available on the National Records of Scotland website.
Information is regularly updated on our website. If you can’t find what you need online, use the rest of this page to find out how and where to access information.
Ways to access information
Everyone has a legal right to see information held by Scottish public authorities. The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (known as FOISA or FOI) aims to increase openness and accountability across the public sector by making sure people have the right to access information held by Scottish public authorities. Falkirk’s Integration Joint Board (IJB) is a Scottish Public Authority for the purposes of FOI legislation.
The IJB plans and oversees delivery of health and social care services provided by NHS Forth Valley and Falkirk Council. An FOI request about these services may be more appropriately submitted through either NHS Forth Valley or Falkirk Council, unless the request is directly concerned with information held by the IJB.
The Board publishes a wide range of information for public access. Use our Guide to Information for more details about the information published. If you cannot find the information you want, you can make a request by emailing or writing to us:

To make an FOI request you need to give us your name and a contact address, but you don’t need to tell us anything more about who you are or why you want the information.
You can also ask us for environmental information under the Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004.
We will answer your request within 20 working days. Sometimes there will be reasons why we cannot provide the information you requested. If that is the case, we will tell you why. You can ask us to review our decision to decline your request. If you are unhappy with the outcome of the review, you can appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner.
