Consultation: Delivering equal and fair health and social care services
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership wants to gather views about how services can help everyone get fair and equal access to support.
Between September and November last year, we carried out a public consultation asking for feedback about two new equality outcomes. The outcomes are the results we need to achieve fairer and more equitable services. Together, we agreed our two outcomes for the 2024 – 2028 period to be:
- Older people who experience barriers to accessing internet-based health and social care services have alternative ways to access services.
- People from Black & Minority Ethnic backgrounds with cultural and language differences have improved experiences accessing health & social care services.
We’re now asking people what actions we should progress together to achieve these outcomes.
During this next stage of engagement, the Partnership will be meeting with community groups again to share proposed actions and learn ideas from others. People can also have their say by completing the online survey, open until 3 March 2024.

To take part in the survey, or read more about the equality outcomes and feedback received so far, visit the Participate+ Falkirk website. The survey is open until 3 March.
The team will also be gathering in-person feedback at a range of events and local clubs. If you run a community group and would like to arrange your own in-person session, please get in touch via integration@falkirk.gov.uk
